Keynote - Navigating Change: Communication as Compass

We all know change is constant; it is going to happen with or without our influence.  However, as leaders, you will at some point want to, be asked to, or need to be in the position of bringing about change in your team or organization.  The process is fraught with difficulties and yet ripe with opportunities.  The aim of this session is to give you communication tools you can use to overcome resistance, build trust, and create a vision for a successful change effort.

Workshop- Facebook vs. Face in a Book: Generational Experiences with Technology

Never before have we seen four generations of employees in the workplace at the same time.  Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials must work together to overcome generational challenges for effective communication to take place. One such challenge lies with technology, as each generation has different experiences with it. However, technology can also be seen as an opportunity for connecting to others. This session takes a light-hearted look at what makes the generations tick, ring, click, and beep so we can achieve great things together.

Learn how to . . .

·         Embrace the different generational approaches to work

·         Understand each generation’s experience with technology

·         Communicate effectively across generational lines

·         Use social networking sites to connect to others
